Things you may like to know about Eddy Lush Photography
Equipment
We use Sony professional camera equipment with a minimum of 2 cameras at any time at every event to cover every eventuality.
Mobile Studio
We have a mobile studio available if requested which can be used for formal shots of your guests in their wedding attire to capture those one-off moments.
Weather
Eddy Lush Photography have options available for any weather, unfortunately that is one thing we have no control over (although we are working on it!).
Insurance
We carry £2 million pounds of public liability insurance.
Breakdown
We have Green Flag automotive breakdown cover should the worst happen and we suffer a vehicle breakdown so one way or another we will get to you in plenty of time!
Second Photographer
We often use a 2nd wedding photographer to capture those candid moments and different angles. Candid photographs are an ideal way to reveal things as they truly happen and they are images that hold a small story inside of them. Depending on the purpose of the image, it can reveal human character, emotions, interaction between people or social status. Each candid photo has a meaning and it is based on a photographer’s vision. Photojournalism is a style in wedding photography. Candid photography is sometimes misinterpreted as a series of snapshots shot by the photographer during the wedding day. While snapshots are usually limited to facial expressions (which will often make people laugh), candid photos are based on a variety of photographic techniques, mixed with a clearly set purpose of documenting the event with our photographer’s vision.
Costs
We do not charge by the hour to cover the wedding. We stop shooting when we have captured all the images we need to create the stunning pictures that will give you the memories of that special day. You can see our prices HERE
Backup Copies
We also keep a hard copy of all the weddings we cover so if the worst should ever happen and you lose your images for whatever reason, we should be able to help. We cannot guarantee this service but it is free and an additional peace of mind for you.

Initial Consultation Travel Expenses
Although we cover anywhere in the UK, travel expenses will be charged for consultations over 15 miles from Derby city centre at 80p per mile both ways using RAC route planner. This can be found here http://www.rac.co.uk/route-planner/. Please note these charges will be deducted from your final bill if you choose to book our services.
Travel Expenses
We try to keep the cost of our Photographic Packages down to a minimum but unfortunately the cost of travel can be considerable if we have to cover any major distances. Therefore, we have to cover our time and direct costs by charging a reasonable Travel Expense Fee of 80p per mile, both ways for any work over 15 miles from the centre of Derby. We use the RAC Route Planner to determine the mileage charge.
Deposit
We ask for a £50 non-returnable deposit (deducted from the final bill) to secure your date at the time of booking and we require the balance to be paid at least 4 weeks before your wedding.
Photo Processing Time
From the date of your wedding we hope to have your finished wedding images back to you within 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year.
Contract
When you appoint Eddy Lush Photography to photograph your wedding you will be asked to sign a contract. This contract is designed to protect you (the couple) and myself (the photographer) Its purpose is to state in writing exactly what you as a client can expect to receive and what I as the photographer will provide as your wedding photographer.
Guest Photographers
We have no issues with your guests taking as many photos as they like and we will even assist in poses to allow them to get some nice shots.
Guest Anonymity
During your consultation we ask if you can also make us aware of any special considerations within the wedding party for those who may not want to be photographed.
